The fifth batch of Chinese archives and documentary heritage micro-video series - Archives of Liu Guojun Dacheng Textile and Dyeing Co., Ltd.
In January 2023, the Archives of Liu Guojun’s Dacheng Textile & Dyeing Co., Ltd., preserved in the Changzhou Municipal Archives (Jiangsu Province), were officially selected for inclusion in the China Documentary Heritage Register. This recognition, overseen by the National Archives Administration of China in connection with UNESCO’s documentary heritage framework, affirms the archives’ historical value as part of the nation’s collective memory.
In December 2020, the Changzhou Daming Spinning Mill was officially recognized as a National Industrial Heritage site by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People’s Republic of China. This designation highlights the mill’s historic role in China’s industrial development and preserves its legacy as part of the nation’s collective heritage.
