Located in Changzhou’s Economic Development Zone, the Tianhong Daming 1921 Creative Park serves as a national-level industrial heritage exhibition base. The park integrates six preserved Republican-era cultural relics, a “Century-Old Industrial History Hall,” a fashion product showroom, a study-tour base, as well as dining and tea facilities. In recent years, it has welcomed more than 100,000 visitors from China and abroad, and was chosen as the main filming location for the revolutionary film Seeking the Crossing (觅渡).

This summer alone, the park received nearly 20 groups of visitors. These included tourists organized by travel agencies, students from Zhejiang University City College, Wuhan Textile University, Jiangsu University of Technology, and Jiangsu Engineering Vocational Technical College, as well as trainees from the Changzhou Party School and Wujin District Party School. Community groups brought local students, while athletes participating in the 2025 China IronKids International Invitational & City Family Triathlon and the 2025 Grand Canal IronKids Triathlon Series also visited.

Overseas Chinese youth from the UK, Italy, Portugal, and Spain, along with university study groups from Taiwan, praised the park enthusiastically after their tours. Through their visits, they gained insight into the journey of the “Daming people” — from saving the nation through industry, to strengthening the nation through industry — and came to appreciate the enduring “Daming Spirit”: “A lifetime devoted to spinning yarn, passing the torch from one generation to the next, for a hundred years.” In just two months, the park welcomed nearly 2,000 visitors from both home and abroad.

On August 15, 2025, Jiangsu Provincial Governor Xu Kunlin and Changzhou Party Secretary Wang Jianfeng visited the Creative Park to inspect work related to the protection and utilization of the Grand Canal. Governor Xu emphasized that the Grand Canal was the cradle of modern national industry and commerce, urging the protection of historic brands and factory buildings, while developing new industries and models to attract people, preserve history, and look toward the future. He praised enterprises that have endured a century of challenges yet continue to thrive, noting that the park’s distinctive educational programs have become a classic example of patriotic tradition.
