An Enduring Legacy: Liu Guojun and Three Generations in the CPPCC

The photograph captures Vice Chairman Liu Guojun’s handwritten couplet: “Forever follow the old path, though aged the heart remains young.” It reflects his steadfast spirit and enduring vitality. Remarkably, this spirit is carried forward by three generations of the Liu family, each serving as Standing Committee members of the Jiangsu Provincial CPPCC: Liu Guojun (1st–3rd CPPCC Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the 4th), his son Liu Hanliang (6th–7th CPPCC Standing Committee), and grandson Liu Xuejin (11th–12th CPPCC Standing Committee). Together, their lineage embodies a proud tradition of service and dedication across decades.
